Meet Angel, a father of four living in Kavinkhama. He is only 32 years old but he is so aware of the challenging factors that affect life in Malawi. Although he hopes to benefit from the trees he has planted he ultimately wants them to help his children.
He said, “I aim to raise 2,500 seedings and plant these out in the rainy season. When I die, these trees will provide for my children. If God grants me more years, I would like to buy a car.”
We are proud that our tree planting project not only helps protect existing forests and the support the environment but provides a sustainable source of timber and therefore income to farmers in one of the worlds poorest countries.
