May is our birthday month, but this year, it’s an even more special time as we are celebrating Force, our Country Director’s, 20 years of service to Ripple Africa.
From managing a small tree nursery when he first started, Force has developed and grown with the organisation. He now oversees all of Ripple Africa’s projects in Malawi, which includes managing a strong 700-person team and more than 15,000 local volunteers.
During a celebration yesterday, Ripple Africa Founder Geoffrey Furber shared an insight into Force’s journey at Ripple Africa and thanked him for his dedication in making the organisation what it is today.
It was also touching to hear tributes from various project managers and the UK team. Force is not only a ‘Force of Nature’ but a brilliant mentor and friend to all.
